  • Border Patrol
  • Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA)

  • Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS)

  • or if you were subpoenaed to appear in U.S. District Court, you may need a federal public defender.

What immigration matters do you handle?

We represent those accused of a crime under the immigration laws such as alien smuggling, illegal entry, illegal re-entry after deportation, and visa and immigration fraud.

Petitions for habeas corpus challenging lawfulness of detention by Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS), primarily those who have been ordered deported but INS is unable to deport.

We do not represent or advise individuals in deportation or removal proceeding before the immigration judge, the Board of Immigration Appeals, or the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.

What are the directions and visiting hours to the Federal Detention Center?

See the BOP website at www.bop.gov/ for up to date hours and visiting policies.
